The parallels between the Mayan and the Balinese civilizations are so many and so close that it is hard to believe they are not from the same source. Yet they are separated by the Pacific Ocean. Have we all been taught a false version of history to hide the fact that mankind lived in peace for thousands of years? It seems so.
See endless photographic parallels between the two

One of the greatest archaeological riddles—and one of the grossest academic omissions—of our time is the untold story of the parallel ruins left by two seemingly unrelated ancient civilizations: the ancient Mayans on one side of the Pacific Ocean and the ancient Balinese on the other. The mysterious and unexplained similarities in their architecture, iconography, and religion are so striking and profound that the Mayans and Balinese seem to have been twin civilizations—as if children of the same parent. Yet, incredibly, this mystery is not only being ignored by American scholars, it’s being suppressed.

So what?
Ancient history? So what?
Who cares what the Mayans did or didn't do?
Stop living in the past. Ancient civilisations had no more of a clue than we do today. So they had some secret that we do not have? Give us a break.
GS
I'd like to know that secret, GS.
I'd like to know how GS is so sure that ancient civilisations had no more of a clue than we do today.
Maybe GS is a time traveller? Just a thought.
Mankind is capable of living in peace. The system of finance that controls the world brings endless wars, as they are good for business, and the concentration of power into very few hands, as liked by the powerful.
Ancient peoples lived as humans naturally are within themselves. The demands for the concentration of power into the hands of a single person, family or group is destroying the peacefulness we would otherwise enjoy.
Anonymous why comment if you don't care? Who said they had more clues and why des it matter. History is full of rich and diverse stories that we can't be taught everything at school cause there's no need for . But it's cool to learn new stuff. Maybe jersey shore is more suited for you as you don't like living in the past
